Our History & Business Philosophy

We are a family owned business that grew from humble beginnings.

​

Established in 1989 as New Wave Builders, the company struggled to stay afloat amidst the harsh winters and declining local economy of a small Central PA town.

​

In 1995, our founder, Gregg Bratton, and his then fiance, Michele, moved to the Raleigh, NC area in search of new opportunities. 

 

And they got right to work.

 

Without knowing a soul in their new home state (and before the internet was "a thing"), Gregg and Michele pounded the pavement.

 

Gregg worked in the field every day and gave his business card to every one he met. Michele did the company's clerical work nights and weekends and promoted New Wave Builders through contacts she made working in the credit and mortgage industry.

 

Strictly through word of mouth and referrals from satisfisfied customers...business boomed! 

 

As the company continued to flourish, Gregg become a licensed General Contractor, and the business incorporated as New Wave Building Concepts in 2007.

Though we've grown and changed over the years, our committment to excellence remains constant, and customer satisfaction is always our #1 priority.
